Project Goal: To increase Aston University’s Library social media presence and online engagement.

Aston University Library Services needed…

The Aston University Library Services needed to increase their social media engagement primarily on the Facebook and Twitter platform. This involved implemented digital campaigns to increase their following and to encourage engagement from the student community.

Works included…

• Regularly updated social media platforms with original content
• Researching target market through online and offline surveys
• Implementing social media campaigns, such as Valentine’s day and Easter egg hunt.

Results…

• Increased awareness of the library’s social media profiles
• Increased social media engagement and followers
• Increased website traffic
